Cortland® Liquid Crystal™ Fly Line is a step forward in the evolution of floating fly line technology. It's constructed by extruding a blend of clear polyethylene and advanced co-polymers (PE+™) over a braided multifilament core. Invisible in water, the hard coating boasts a super-smooth finish with an incredibly low coefficient of friction, allowing it to shoot faster and farther than ordinary PVC floating lines. This coating is fused permanently to the core, so line stretch is eliminated—for unmatched line detection and hard hooksets. Its compound taper turns over bulky flies. Liquid Crystal is highly abrasion-resistant and durable, capable of standing up to sun, salt, and powerful predators. Made in USA.
