Because it matches the refractivity of water, it is virtually invisible to fish. Supple and easy to cast, Hi-Seas 100% Fluorocarbon is an excellent specialty running line. Pro anglers use it for finesse techniques in super clear lakes because it sinks faster than mono, is undetectable to fish, and remarkably tough. Use it for invisible leaders, too. If you use braided or colored line, adding a leader of Hi-Seas fluorocarbon will increase hits and provide added resistance to chafe and abrasion.
